SELF CARE Whether your glass is half-empty or hal SELF CARE

Whether your glass is half-empty or half-full, you can't pour from an empty cup!

There's a reason you've heard this saying time and again. No matter how much you want it, even if it's brand new off the lot, you can't drive a car without an energy source.

Nourishing your mind and body, nurturing your unique interests and abilities, and building community with a tribe of like-minded goal-getters are the energy source you need.

✍🏻 How have you practiced self-care recently?

✍🏽 How often can you consistently make time for this type self-care?

👉 Rest is important. 👈

I mean, their lives pretty much revolve around nap time!

Whether it looks like lounging by the river, listening to music on the patio, morning yoga, or an afternoon nap, make time for peaceful moments throughout your week.

What are some mantras you would suggest to use to shift out of a negative thought process?

This question made me realize it's been a while since I've talked about mantras in this little corner of the internet!

Of course, the best mantras are the ones that speak to you and your specific situation.

But... I do have a go-to mantra, and it's a great one to start with if you're feeling stuck or down for any reason.

“It’s okay that I’m not okay. I willbe okay.”

Read and repeat those two sentences as many times as you need to. Each one is powerful in its own way, but they are more powerful together.

Tell me — What's your go-to mantra when things get tough?
SELF TALK The ambitious goal you have for yoursel SELF TALK

The ambitious goal you have for yourself is within reach... unless you talk yourself out of it.

What you think, say, and do are all connected.

If you think you aren't capable of achieving your goal, and you tell yourself you're a failure, you shouldn't be surprised when you struggle to succeed.

This principle of alignment is the foundation of my Think Say Do model of productivity and mindset coaching. And you know what? It works.

✍🏻 When you achieve your goal—any goal you're working on right now—what will others say about you?

Maybe it's a customer writing a positive review about your product or service, your boss acknowledging your expertise, or a friend complimenting you on your transformation.

Pretend like they are already saying these positive things about you. The sooner you begin telling yourself these statements are true, the sooner you will start hearing others say it.

✍🏽 How has negative self-talk derailed your progress on past goals?
